Frauen am Kontrabaß: The Rockabilly Four

Weil mich das Spiel mit der kleinen Hexe, die auf einem Friedhof Kürbisse vor einem irren Priester retten muß, immer noch an Twine und SugarCube fesselt, hier wenigstens ein kleines Lebenszeichen mit einem Beitrag aus meiner Reihe »Frauen am Kontrabaß«: Die Rockabilly Four mit ihrer Version von Rock Around the Clock, aufgenommen 2014 beim Weinfest Niestal.

Die Rockabilly Four sind eine Band aus Deutschland, doch obwohl sie sogar eine eigene, gut gemachte Website besitzt, konnte ich die Namen der vier Musikerinnen und Musiker nicht in Erfahrung bringen. Aber egal, die Musik klingt verdammt authentisch und die Kontrabassistin treibt ihre Mitspieler gewaltig an (das ist schließlich die Aufgabe eines Kontrabasses im Rockabilly).
